CARY LEITZES, FOUNDER
With years of media experience working on the start-up teams for publishing’s top fashion magazines, Cary Leitzes founded LEITZES&CO in 2005. She started the company with the mission to collaborate with leading brands in unexpected fashions, principally through creating innovative strategic partnerships via the creative convergence of culture and commerce.
Before founding LEITZES&CO, Cary spent her career at W Magazine, Jane Magazine, and Harper’s Bazaar, working for these leading fashion magazines bridging the gap between publishing and creatives. While helping each publication create a distinct visual identity, she fostered strong relationships with an extensive network of photographers, designers and artists in the process. She also realized the potential these talents have in contributing forward thinking for brands, which provided the insight to create a unique creative resource, LEITZES&CO. Cary serves as advisor and confidant to creative talents and marquee brands alike.
KATIE SHARRAR, SENIOR CREATIVE MANAGER
With a background in post-production working on commercials for leading agencies, for Sundance Film Festival movies, and for The Food Network, Katie Sharrar brings an expert understanding of how to navigate both the creative and the corporate arenas. Prior to joining LEITZES&CO in 2008, she was a Coordinator with Shooters Inc., a full service production and post house.
Over the past four years, Katie has been working at LEITZES&CO as a thought leader and project manager to help ideate and execute strategic partnerships and campaigns. Eager to share her passion for all of the creative fields, Katie started LEITZES&CO’s blog, where she serves as Managing Editor.
